Maroubra, Holy Family Catholic Church

The Holy Family Catholic Church is located along Maroubra Road, in the eastern suburb of Maroubra. This heritage listed church was built in 1940 in the Neo-Romanesque architectural style.

  3. i am always amazed at the clarity of your skies, even when a few clouds are above. The Romanesque style certainly made its way around the world. We similar churches here.

  8. Without reading your text, at first glance «Louis» guessed that this church was built in the '40s- '50s. It's funny how these styles of architecture are identifiable. For another example, the church «Louis» posted reminds him of a space satellite - and in fact, the church was built in the mid-1960s when that sort of thing was all the rage in architecture.
