Alexandria, Sydney Park, chimneys

These chimney stacks at Sydney Park, in the inner city suburb of Alexandria, are viewed from the entrance at the corner of King Street and Sydney Park Road near St Peters railway station. They were once part of brickworks which operated from 1840 until 1970 before being redeveloped as parkland. The same chimneys decorated at Christmas can be seen here.

  4. Interesting photo. Looks like a museum for the history of smoke stacks, but I do see the park sign,

  5. And now it seems that the cluster of chimneys is transferring into museum and art worlds. Great perspective.
