agreed. The dark red bricks make the churches look grounded, not ethereal.But parishes had to use what they could afford, I suppose.
Yes, Kathe, we do still have brick manufacturers. Most houses and many apartment buildings use bricks in their construction.

Looks typical Baptist architecture
A strong little building, maybe lacking in architectural flourish, but a church is a meeting place, after all, and this one says "I'm here to stay!"
