    I noticed the crane in the background. New apartments under construction near the beach perhaps?

      Manly is a prime location so new apartments are going up all the time.

    Because my beloved grew up in Bondi, I know Bondi, Coogee and Bronte beaches very well indeed. But I've never been to Manly. Is Manly beach longer, wider or more sparkling than the Eastern Suburbs?

      Manly along with North Steyne and Queenscliff, to the north, make up a much longer stretch of sand than Bondi and North Bondi. There are also a lot more Northern Beaches, all the way up to Palm Beach, compared to the Eastern Suburbs.

    Amazing how misty a beach can be on a hot summer's day. There's the heat haze and possibly a sea mist too. This scene is lovely.

    sigh, sigh! beach in summer! looks nice. I just visited Bondi beach. I like observing all the water activities (surfing, kites....).
