Kingsgrove, St Thomas' War Memorial Church

St Thomas' War Memorial Church is an Anglican church located along Morgan Street, in the southern suburb of Kingsgrove. It was built in 1952 and the dedication reads: Lest we forget our spiritual heritage and those who died in its defence. It stands beside the former St Thomas' Anglican Church.

  3. Excellent! St Thomas Anglican church was perfectly built as a war memorial, both time-wise (soon after WW2) and stylistically (late Deco, as were 1920s war memorials).
