Sydney Town Hall, Druitt Street
This side view of part of the Sydney Town Hall is from the corner of Druitt Street and York Street. The heritage listed building was designed by John H. Wilson and completed in 1889 in the Grand Victorian Second Empire architectural style. It is Spring now and the leaves on the trees have just started to grow.
The Town Hall has been beautifully restored Jim, looks like there are some gorgeous stained glass windows inside. Definitely worth a visit!

I didn't think the renovated version would be 100% acceptable because the sandstone was old. But The City of Sydney page says the sandstone blocks, the detailed carving and the columns of the clock tower make the town hall look fine. I agree.
