There are lotus ponds native to western Massachusetts that I visited recently. They're fascinating.
Sooo pretty, Jim, great picture. I dont remember seeing the Lotus Pond on our 2014 visit. In Texas we have similar lily ponds.
It changes a lot with the seasons so may have looked different when you were there.

Looks so serene. Lotus blooms are very pretty. The pond in the recreational park is now filled with lotus blooms.
These ones come in different colours too.
