This mural is on the side of a commercial building on the corner of Chapel Lane and Botany Road, in the inner city suburb of Waterloo. The Kid Laroi is an Australian musician who grew up in this area and has had international success with his music. This mural was created in 2020 by visual artist Scott Marsh.

ReplyDeleteYes, he does have indigenous heritage. He is Kamilaroi (or Gamilaraay) from which he derived his stage name "Laroi".
