Alexandria, Sydney Park, wetlands

Sydney Park is a large recreational area in the inner city suburb of Alexandria. The former brickworks were transformed into parkland and wetlands. This view across one of the ponds is towards the chimney stacks at the north-west corner of the park, near St Peters. A fallen tree trunk has become lodged on the cascade and sprouted new leaves.
