"Whale Tales" is an art trail event featuring 30 whale tail sculptures installed around Sydney Harbour from Barangaroo to Cockle Bay, Darling Harbour and Blackwattle Bay. The artwork created by 30 different artists will be auctioned to raise money for The Kids’ Cancer Project. These sculptures were located at Pyrmont from the Australian National Maritime Museum to The Star Casino, Union Square and the Fish Market.
Beautiful whale tail sculptures created for a good and meaningful cause. Have a great week.
ReplyDeleteThat is an impressive collection of creative whale tale designs! There are so many whales beached at west Tassie right now too.
ReplyDeleteThat must be a lot of tails as I saw some before on your photo's. Still very nice.
ReplyDeleteWe had 30 tails on display in total, spread out over 6 kilometres.
DeleteI would like the silver tail in your first photo. It matches the water beautifully.
ReplyDeleteThese are good ones, Jim.
ReplyDeleteThe third stands out most to me.
ReplyDeleteI hope a great deal of money is raised.
ReplyDeleteMy favorites this week are a toss up between photos 2 and 3.
