This statue of St Therese surrounded by flowers is in the grounds of St Therese's Catholic Church, located along Sutherland Street, in the eastern suburb of Mascot. Some festive cheer has been added with four solar powered Christmas Tree LED garden stakes.

ReplyDeleteShe's holding roses, so she must be St Therese! If you’ve ever prayed a novena to St. Therese of Lisieux, you know that as you pray, you start looking for roses. The idea—or the belief—is that you’ll receive a rose as a gift from St. Therese and you’ll know that your prayers were heard. Thanks for taking part in the "My Sunday Best" meme, Jim.
ReplyDeleteThanks for that info, Nick. I've updated my post.
