The Five Dock Police Station is located along Garfield Street, in the inner west suburb of Five Dock. This heritage listed building was built in 1913 in the Federation style and was originally the Five Dock Fire Station.
Yes it's a design used for many fire stations built in that era. They altered the doors to large windows here. I've seen other conversions to a pre-school, houses and now a police station.
I thought it WAS a fire station at first glimpse, but the door spaces weren't right.
