York Street, Stoddart House

Stoddart House is a commercial building along York Street, opposite the Queen Victoria Building. The heritage listed former warehouse was built in 1908 in the Federation Warehouse style. It was originally known as the Frank F Bundock Building, named after its owner. Between 1932 and 1944 lessees included S G Blanton Ltd and Stoddart Properties Ltd and it became known as Stoddart House. In 1981, the property was purchased by Corporate Apparel Ltd, the present owners and occupiers.

  3. I am not sure we have any Federation Warehouse style architecture in Melbourne. So it is good to see that Stoddart House is still handsome now

  4. I've seen buildings in a similar style in the United States. This must have been a popular style and I like it.
