This memorial court stands at the front of the Brighton-Le-Sands RSL Club, located along Bay Street in the southern suburb of Brighton-Le-Sands. It contains a contemporary sculpture depicting the obstacles soldiers faced at Gallipoli in World War 1. The plaque reads: This war memorial court is dedicated to those who made the supreme sacrifice.

My grandfather told us very little... That brave man survived but was very damaged.
