Pyrmont, wharf

A view of the pylons of a former wharf which form a 'pole garden' beside Pirrama Park, in the inner west suburb of Pyrmont. A new pontoon wharf is located further back on the left, as well as a smaller concrete one at the front, on the right. The White Bay Cruise Terminal can be seen in the distance across Johnstons Bay.

  1. Because my spouse grew up in the Eastern Suburbs, we visited his family and friends always in that part of Sydney. Pyrmont looks lovely.. so I am sorry we never visited.

  3. What a fascinating scene! The contrast between the historic pylons and the modern wharves creates such an interesting blend of old and new. The reflections on the water add a serene touch to the industrial landscape.
