This is one of three chimney stacks above motorways in the inner west suburb of Rozelle. The Rozelle Interchange is an underground junction of the M4 and M8 Motorways which link to Anzac Bridge and the Western Distributor. The stacks were designed by architect Chris Fox as part of Rozelle Parklands, a 10-hectare (25-acre) open green space. It opened in 2023 and features wetlands, a village green, recreation areas and barbecue facilities.

I like the name Anzac Bridge, that's a good remembrance title.
ReplyDeleteIt's impressive how the Rozelle Interchange has integrated striking architecture like Chris Fox’s chimney stacks with thoughtfully designed green space, turning vital infrastructure into a community asset.
