
This set of escalators at Martin Place railway station connects the existing train line (T) to the new metro line (M). Martin Place railway station was opened in 1979 as part of the Eastern Suburbs Railway Line. The new station platforms were opened in 2024 as part of the Sydney Metro North West & Bankstown Line.

DeleteThat's a fantastic photo of the escalators at Martin Place station! It's always impressive to see how modern infrastructure connects with existing lines, especially with such a big project like the Sydney Metro. It must be quite a change for commuters in Sydney now that the new platforms are open.
