This gazebo is on the edge of Hen and Chicken Bay, in the inner west suburb of Cabarita. It was built for the nearby Cape Cabarita housing estate and originally was a shelter for an attached wharf which has since been demolished.

It could use some benches.
ReplyDeletePerfect location to take photos of the gazebo.
ReplyDeleteLove the sky and the gazebo
ReplyDeleteWhat a nice little structure. I wondered where the name Cabarita came from, as it sounded a little Spanish, so I googled it and it is unclear where the name comes from but I like the name anyway.
ReplyDeleteCabarita is an Aboriginal word meaning by the water according to the book The River: Sydney Cove to Parramatta.
