A view of Platform 3 at Summer Hill railway station, in the inner west suburb of Summer Hill. The station opened in 1879 and is served by Sydney Trains T2 Leppington & Inner West Line and occasional T3 Liverpool & Inner West Line services.

The yellow roof looks very unusual. Was it based on a model used by other Sydney stations?
ReplyDeleteIt's not unique to Summer Hill. Other stations on the line had awnings like this although some have been replaced.
Delete...reliable rail travel is wonderful.
