The Palace Hotel is located on the corner of Tennyson Road and McDonald Street in the inner west suburb of Mortlake. It was built in the 1920s and replaced the original Palace Hotel at the end of the road built in 1886, on the shore of the Parramatta River.

ReplyDeleteYes, that's how most of these hotels were built, although we would say ground floor is the pub and first floor is the hotel accommodation.
