This brilliant blue sky above Sydney Harbour was viewed from the viewing platform above Circular Quay railway station, beside the Cahill Expressway. The view stretches from the Sydney Harbour Bridge and the Overseas Passenger Terminal across to the Sydney Opera House. A ferry has just departed from Circular Quay ferry wharves heading towards Kirribilli, on the north shore.
A lovely view of the sky over the bridge and the opera house. It is a pretty scene and I could never get tired of seeing it. Great capture. Happy Skywatching!
Amazing, different hemisphere, different day, different season. Up here it's winter, and Thursday and the skies are cold and dark and moody. Down there it's Friday and Summer and warm and bright. I know my geography, but it's still always a surprise. Happy New Year.
