Looking out across the soft sand at Lady Robinsons Beach, along the foreshore of Botany Bay, in the southern suburb of Dolls Point. The stairs at this entrance have disappeared under shifting sand caused by tides, strong currents and river flow. The sand is often dredged and relocated to help replenish nearby erosion-prone areas like Ramsgate Beach.

ReplyDeleteThe soft, warm sand is inviting but the stencil on the sidewalk, I assume to mark a pedestrian path, looks like the outline police in this country make to mark the position of a fallen murder victim.
