Ashfield, St Vincent's monastery

St Vincents monastery is attached to St Vincents Catholic Church, in the inner west suburb of Ashfield.

  1. I think I've told you this before...but it's true. I'm always surprised to see older architecture in Australia. For some reason I think that everything Down Under is very modern. Obviously memes are good for me as I am constantly learning something.

    Even though Australia was only settled by Europeans 220 years ago and most of the architecture is contemporary, there really is a lot of great architecture from the past two centuries.
