I enlarged this picture, and the detail is great. I can see other things here too that you used in other photos. This must be a prime area for good images.
Another great day/photo. When they built that bridge, they must have pulled one down. I wonder if it was called the Iron Cove. My memory ahh!!!! Bruce.

Oh wow, I just "clicked" and can see the old bridge is still there.
ReplyDeleteBruce.
Bruce, it is a swing bridge that is now left open known as the Glebe Island Bridge. I'll try and get a photo of it one of these days.
ReplyDeleteYes of course, it's all coming back now, many thanks. Left open,,,,you better remember not to drive across it then!
ReplyDeleteBruce.
This area of Sydney is looking quite lovely now! When I was young, Pyrmont was a rather bedraggled corner of Sydney! Great to see it like this now!
ReplyDeleteI like those sleek lines, are they steel cables that hold up the bridge.
ReplyDeleteSoon it will be Anaz day.
Yes Ann, those lines are steel cables.
ReplyDeleteThat bridge really is awesome. I don't think I'll ever tire of it. Lovely, scenic path too.
ReplyDeleteHave a sweet Scenic Sunday! :)
guess I could hang around there for a few hours maybe. :)
ReplyDeleteGreat shot of some magnificent scenery. :)
ReplyDeletePretty! Really nice composition, framed nicely by the bridge :)
