I'm always a sucker for waterfront photographs and these are great.
Great perspective. The people who live in those apartments certainly have an amazing view!
Found a book in Berkolouw's last night with an old (mmm ... 1880s) image of Macquarie St with warehouses all along where the toaster is now. Think I will try to reproduce the shot in a nowadays version.Like the aspect of this shot of yours, Jim.
Shame about the ugly apartment block. However they don't look so bad in your clever shot.
HI Jim it's fantastic. I still can't believe the big block building was allowed o be built there.Just wonderin if you have any photo of the now and then of circular quay?
Lindz, I don't have any old images of Circular Quay. These new apartments replaced office buildings, which were probably built around the 1950s.Julie, I'd be keen to see some of those photos of old warehouses here. I remember seeing some photos of the old tram sheds at the current site of the Opera House.
beautiful. i love seafronts too and consider as one of my favorite subjects. :)
Looks like the people in the apartments have a lot of living to enjoy. Everything is so handy.:-)
Nice view and I love the angle..Thanks for sharing!Life’s ObstacleBlazing Sun
