Shelly Beach is the southernmost beach of the southern suburb of Cronulla. When the tide goes out there are many rock pools to explore in this area. The clouds stayed mainly offshore on this day but it was was quite a cool afternoon so nobody was swimming.
J, I used to love going to Cronulla.

ReplyDeleteGreat scene. It may be cool for swimming but looks like a great place for a walk.
ReplyDeleteYour blog often makes me nostalgic. This is where I learnt to swim as a 9 year old. After that my friend and I often would walk from Cronulla Beach to Shelly Beach along the shore line swimming in every little pool on the way. I liked it because they were often warm but once I got scared because an octopus squirted black ink and filled the pool. I soon shot out of that one.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful sky and beach, looks like a lovely place to explore tidal pools!
