Surry Hills, Belgenny apartments

The Belgenny apartment building is located on the corner of Bourke Street and Campbell Street, in the inner city suburb of Surry Hills. It was built in the art deco architectural design and features shops and a cafe on the ground floor.

    I love Deco and am very pleased to see this building has been saved. Are they flats?

      Yes, I prefer to call them flats but now the word "apartment" seems to be taking over from "flat".

    I like the sign "seraphim chemist" : I'm picturing an angel playing with a set of the little chemist doing experiments when I see it... :D

    My Dad was the architect of this building. It's so good that this building survives.
