"Field" is an art installation in Hyde Park which is part of Art and About Sydney, a festival of art in unusual places. This large field of mirrors was created by Angus Muir and Alexandra Heaney at Out of the Dark, with Simon van Praag of Fresh Concept. The 324 mirror faces, reflect the changing nature of the park, city and sky. At night the multifaceted installation is lit with coloured lights producing a light show and creating different reflections.
It would be fun to walk through there with a camera!

ReplyDeleteThis large field of mirrors is perfect for reflection...nicely done...
ReplyDeleteWhat a simple idea, but a clever one.
ReplyDeleteI lot warmer than our local Hyde Park, there was a scarecrow festival in Hyde Park (Hyde, Cheshire) last week but the weather was so awful I didn't venture down to see them.
ReplyDeleteAwesome !
ReplyDeleteIt would definitely be a great beautiful landscape if we were to walk by there at night with all the lightings on. It will be like a storage of beautiful reflections that create a collage of beautiful colours. I am sure everyone from all age groups will be entertained and not only those who are art enthusiasts.
