Arena Calcetto is an installation along Playfair Street at The Rocks. Each of the six timber towers, 10 metres high, hide an individually handcrafted foosball table with custom-made players. They were created by a community collective known as Archrival, originally for the 13th Venice International Architecture Biennale in 2012 and will be here until 30 September 2014.
I wonder if you can play the Foosball table?

Yes, you can and since it's school holidays this week there have been a lot of kids down there doing that.

ReplyDeletethat's pretty cool.
ReplyDeleteThis foosball table is very original!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful blue sky there, something we don't see often here north of Toronto. Too much smog or clouds moving off Lake Huron.
ReplyDeleteWe've had a good run of beautiful blue winter skies recently.
DeleteNeat idea for an installation.
ReplyDeleteLooks unique, I like it.
ReplyDeleteLove the angles juxtaposed against the beautiful sky ~ great shot for SWF ~ thanks, ^_^
