Annandale, house

'Hockington' is a heritage listed house located along Johnston Street, in the inner west suburb of Annandale. It was built around 1888, in the Victorian Free Classical architectural style and is part of the Witches' Houses precinct.

  1. I am not sure what Victorian Free Classical architectural style is, but the main part of the house is gorgeous and typical of its era (1890?). Only the steep roof is unusual and the tower is even more unusual. Thank you!!!

    1. Valerie, it would be interesting to see whether they've maintained the ornate interiors.
