Paddington, Reservoir Gardens

Paddington Reservoir Gardens are on the corner of Oxford Street and Oatley Road, in the inner city suburb of Paddington. This view is from the park on the top level towards Paddington Town Hall. The remains of a former 19th century underground reservoir were redeveloped in 2009 to create an urban sanctuary with lawns, flower beds, shaded seating and a fish pond water feature.

  1. The remains of a former 19th century underground reservoir!.... how cool would it be to discover and redevelop a project like that!

  4. Excellent post. Better to redevelop a project than to tear down for sure. Now folks can enjoy this wonderful site.
