Sydney skyscrapers
These two Sydney skyscrapers are viewed from the walkway beside the Cahill Expressway, above Circular Quay railway station. The building on the left is the AMP Centre, which is a 43 level office tower and retail centre built in 1977. It has just been announced that it will undergo a major redevelopment which will see the entire exterior redesigned, to give it a more sleek and modern appearance. The one on the right is Governor Phillip Tower, a 64 level office building completed in 1994.
They are very impressive, especially against that beautiful blue sky!
ReplyDeleteLots of contrast between these two buildings. I'm guessing that it must be modernized to keep the tenants in the building. But I have no idea how you would go about the outside renovation.
