Homebush Bay, monument

This monument is located at the entrance of the brickpit ring walkway, which stands above a pond, in the western suburb of Homebush Bay. The gears have been salvaged from machinery in the old brickworks here, near Sydney Olympic Park.

  7. I love gears, actually once having a job purchasing them. I love these old bronze or brass spur gears - I imagine that they were used in heavy machinery way back when. Very cool metalwork sculpture!
