The McMahons Point ferry wharf is located at the end of Henry Lawson Avenue, on Sydney Harbour, in the north shore suburb of McMahons Point. The Sydney Opera House can be seen in the distance past the Sydney Harbour Bridge. This is a historical photo now since this wharf is currently being demolished and will be replaced by a new one soon.
Fine sight!
ReplyDeleteThe ferry stations look super and are great in any weather.
ReplyDeleteAnother new perspective for me. Beautiful shot!
ReplyDeleteQuite a few different options around Sydney Harbour to photograph these landmarks.
DeleteGreat shot!

Nice shot and view !
ReplyDeleteYou will need to give this to the Historical Society!
ReplyDeleteI like that is low enough to not obscure - or detract from - the bridge.
ReplyDeleteCool :-)
ReplyDeleteLooks like you caught it just in time Jim :)
ReplyDeleteBeing demolished?? Change is coming. I remember that stop on the ferry route.
ReplyDeleteYes, they're slowly upgrading all the ferry wharves on the harbour.
DeleteAt least the ferry service will continue. Fine photo of the iconic bridge and opera house.
