Carrington Street, mural

This mural is on a construction hoarding around a development work site along Carrington Street. The design previously appeared around a building work site office on the southern forecourt of the Sydney Opera House at Circular Quay. "Millennial Wallscape" was created by Reg Mombassa and features gum tree trunks, suburban architecture, technological infrastructure, genetically modified flora and fauna and Sydney icons: the Opera House and the Harbour Bridge.

    1. Yes it's temporary, Hels, and could potentially be reused but I don't know if it will be.

  2. It has something of a Where The Wild Things Are feel to it.

  3. I had taken photos of it from Wynyard station and thought it was a cute mural, didn't know the artist though.
    Thanks for taking part Jim.

  4. Some how art work around construction sites makes it a little less ugly when they are tearing everything up.
