Very impressive!
ReplyDeleteA stately building with stately shadows!
ReplyDeleteI figured it out-Google Chrome does not let me comment on Blogger (go figure), but in Safari, I can! Anyway, interesting perspective of the building (wide angle lens?). So many arches!
ReplyDeletePaula, this one was taken on my Samsung mobile phone which can take amazing shots these days. I don't understand why Google are making it harder for people to comment on Blogger. Glad to see you back.
DeleteIt looks very impressive!
ReplyDeleteThe Town Hall has a rather spectacular clock tower, which reminds me of an equally spectacular church steeple. [Of course I am aware that this town hall never had a religious role].
ReplyDeleteAnd here in Canada this weekend we are staying in Stratford, next to Sheakespeare in the County of Oxford!
ReplyDeleteInteresting how the names are reused across the British commonwealth.
