These blooms are located in Cook Park, close to the Lady Robinsons Beach foreshore of Botany Bay, in the southern suburb of Monterey. They surround a sandstone monument with a brass plate which shows the directions of nearby suburbs and landmarks. The sign advises that the area behind the fence is undergoing bush regeneration and requests that visitors keep out.
