Tempe, taxis

These taxis are in the car park of the Robyn Webster Sports Centre, located in Tempe Reserve, in the inner west suburb of Tempe. Dozens of unneeded taxis stripped of their number plates have been grounded as business has taken a hit during the coronavirus lockdown. The Aboriginal mural painted on the outside of the building is called 'Gift Given' and was created by Bronwyn Bancroft.

  1. They're really nice modern cars. I feel sorry for alot of businesses not being allowed to operate.

  4. UI am sorry so many businesses are doing it tough these days. My son relies on tasis, so I hope our taxi company doesn't close down. Stay well.

  7. All but one of the few taxis in our small town are off the road due to the pandemic. It is hard for many elderly people who depend on them for shopping. Fortunately there people in town who are willing to shop for others. - Margy
