A pretty setting for a solemn place
ReplyDeleteWhen my in laws passed away in Sydney, each funeral was held in Rookwood. I found it more peaceful and attractive than the equivalent in Springvale.
ReplyDeleteI love the word necropolis!
ReplyDeletePerfect composition of the gravestones. A very peaceful scene.
ReplyDeleteThanks, Jo. I'm glad you appreciate my effort to compose this one perfectly.
DeleteLooks like most cemeteries in the UK, left to grow for the insects. Nice shot
ReplyDeleteI love to ramble through old cemeteries. Thanks for this shot, Jim.
ReplyDeleteI like seeing the wildflowers among the graves. Old cemeteries are interesting to explore.
ReplyDeleteHave a blessed day!
A beautiful resting place. The April meadow is very picturesque.
ReplyDeleteJim, your picture is wonderful.
Have a healthy, happy week.
