"The Chain" is a sculpture created as a promotion for the designer brand Bottega Veneta. The sculpture is a replica of the gold gourmette chain which is used by the brand as handbag straps or jewellery. This travelling sculpture has already visited ports in Japan and China. It is currently located at Campbells Cove in The Rocks, with the Sydney Harbour Bridge as a backdrop.
Impressive, that's for sure!
ReplyDeleteWOW! That looks like fun Jim
ReplyDeleteA traveling sculture. That's a real link-up.
ReplyDeleteThat is formidable.
ReplyDeleteyes here is a surprising sculpture. the counterpoint with the bridge is quite astonishing (two different mineral structures) and the reflection in the sculpture can be guessed...
ReplyDeleteLovely.
ReplyDeletePerhaps a chain to anchor the bridge.
ReplyDeleteI don't own a handbag. Nice with the bridge in the background.
ReplyDeleteThat's clever!
ReplyDeleteLove the bridge in the background! The Chain is impressive, but in my opinion not attractive. It gives to me the feeling of chaos rather than success or communication. nevertheless, because it's modern we at All Seasons want to know about this sculpture:) Have a great week, Jesh
