Luna Park is an amusement park along Olympic Drive, in the north shore suburb of Milsons Point. The heritage listed amusement park was designed in the art deco style and opened in 1935. Luna Park has temporarily closed to install nine new rides. This view shows the Helter Skelter Cafe, Volare Wave Swinger, Lighthouse and Ferris Wheel.

ReplyDeleteThat looks like fun. It's closed to install rides? Are you guys doing so well with covid that things like amusement parks are open? Wow. Here there are so many restrictions, and we're still trying to see even a glimmer of light at the end of the coronavirus tunnel.

Yes, it had been open until last weekend. It just shut down now because school holidays ended, so the new rides can be installed. Most things have been operating normally here now, with some restrictions.
DeleteMy husband is a fan of amusement rides--I'm not so much. I do enjoy going along for the happy atmosphere, however.
