A surfer runs along the northern end of Maroubra Beach, in the eastern suburb of Maroubra. The Big Rubik's Cube was originally a plain concrete block serving as a stormwater drain cover but in 2008 was painted by local artists overnight.

ReplyDeleteLove the bright colors of the Rubik's Cube against the backdrop of the ocean, the sky, and the sand. Great capture with the surfer running by too - gives great perspective.
