A view of Monterey Baths, the netted swimming enclosure in Botany Bay along Lady Robinsons Beach, in the southern suburb of Monterey. This was from a couple of months ago after Sydney experienced torrential rain and flooding in some parts. The Georges River and Cooks River empty into Botany Bay and the silt washed into the bay. This was taken a couple of days after the rain stopped and the rolling waves were still noticeably brown.

Quite a stretch of beach!
ReplyDeleteLooks amazing
ReplyDeleteI hope the silt, which washed into the bay, will clean itself quickly. Clean beaches are the greatest treasure.
ReplyDeleteIt was back to normal after about a month but we're having a lot of rainy days again now which may affect it again.
Delete...indeed a treasure.
ReplyDeleteThat's a nice bay with beautiful sand.
