This marble statue and lamp stands in the grounds of the Uniting War Memorial Hospital, located along Birrell Street, in the eastern suburb of Waverley. It is one of two statues which stand at the entrance of the E. Vickery Memorial Building, which was gifted to the Methodist Church for use as a private hospital in 1919.
