Marrickville, library

Marrickville Library and Pavilion is located on the corner of Marrickville Road and Livingstone Road in the inner west suburb of Marrickville. It was designed by BVN Architecture and built in 2019. Its front signature poles were wrapped in the LGBTIQA+ progress pride colours to create the Pride Pavilion celebrating Sydney WorldPride 2023.

  4. Public libraries have come a long way since their inception, Jim. I guess a lot of it has to do with the new aesthetic, but it also reflects the multitude of uses that these buildings are now being commandeered for. Nice shot of this great building! Thank you for taking part in the "My Sunday Best" meme.
