This pergola stands on the boardwalk in front of apartments on wharves 7/8 at Pyrmont Bay, in the inner city suburb of Pyrmont. Sydney Wharf was once part of Sydney's port facilities and the redeveloped warehouse buildings have been converted to apartments, restaurants and a marina on the bay. Sydney Tower and the Sydney skyline are in the distance.

A welcome place to shelter from the Summer sun.
ReplyDeleteThis would be an interesting neighborhood to live in, with all the different architecture and urban renewal going on.
ReplyDeleteA good addition.
ReplyDeleteNice shot, lots going on here.
ReplyDeleteI'll bet the interiors of some of those apartments have great views and vibes!
ReplyDeleteIt would be fun to tour one of the apartments.

ReplyDeleteWow Sydney looks awesome - I'd love to visit there one day. Thanks for taking part and linking up with #MySundaySnapshot.
ReplyDeleteAmazing how once we were producing almost everything in Australia, and now all the factories, storehouses, workshops and warehouses are being either demolished or redeveloped into shops and apartments... The bubble will burst sooner or later. Thanks for taking part in the "My Sunday Best" meme.
