The Queen Elizabeth is a luxury ocean liner which was berthed at the Overseas Passenger Terminal at Circular Quay. Some workmen can be seen here on a cherry picker, painting the hull of the cruise ship. Bennelong Apartments and Opera Residences can be seen in the distance.

Some job! Painting the hull of this humongous ship!
ReplyDeleteI imagine that's a very luxurious cruise ship.
ReplyDeleteThe Queen Elizabeth has a fine reputation, for people with a bit of money. Cruising seems a restful and creative way to travel.
ReplyDeleteAre the apartments expensive to buy in this area? Reminds me of Mount Maunganui.
ReplyDeleteThey are some of the most expensive apartments in Sydney with views of the harbour around the Sydney Harbour Bridge and Sydney Opera House.
DeleteSuch a beautiful cruise
ReplyDeleteSuch a pretty, pretty ship. We took an eleven day Caribbean on her, leaving Miami January 3, 2009. Luxurious and expansive but we were invited with a last minute offer to make it better for us.

DeleteMy daughter managed to get a complementary voyage on the QE2 back in 2001 when she traveled around the world. She gave some lectures on board about her trip.
