The KMT Building is a commercial building located along Ultimo Road, in the inner city suburb of Haymarket. It was built in 1921 as the headquarters of the now defunct Chinese Nationalist Party of Australia (CNPA) or KuoMinTang (KMT), which supported the overthrow of the monarchy and the establishment of a republican government in China. The building also housed the Chinese Times newspaer from 1922-1949. It now houses the Chinese Ginseng and Herbs Co on the ground floor and office space above.
What a lovely building! I'm always interested in the architecture from "down under" as often it is quite different from ours "up over". Thank you for sharing at https://image-in-ing.blogspot.com/2024/02/le-musee-dart-sacre.html
