A slow-moving conveyor mechanism that transports people across a horizontal or inclined plane over a short to medium distance.
Thanks, Stefan. They are prevalent in Australia especially in shopping centres with supermarkets, where they are needed for shopping trolleys to travel between levels. But they are also at airports and terminals where people carry luggage.
