Five Dock, war memorial

The Five Dock War Memorial stands in Five Dock Park, in the inner west suburb of Five Dock. In the centre of the rotunda is an octagonal shaped plinth with honour roll plaques of the names of those from the area who served in World War 1 and World War 2. It was refurbished in 1987 with the brickwork painted over, as seen in this 2014 photo. The brickwork of this rotunda has now been restored to the original look of the facade.
